On 21 September, a ringer called Kane Brides was ringing wildfowl at Three Sisters Country Park in Wigan when he found a ringed Black-headed Gull. Once he'd got the number and checked with the BTO hit turned out to be one of ours from Attenborough, ringed on 12 June this year! Kane also posted about this bird here:
